Financial Aid Questions
What are the steps to apply for financial aid?
You must apply for financial aid each academic year, and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is the first step. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and use JNA Institute of Culinary Arts School Code 031033 when filing your FAFSA.
The FAFSA will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. There are ways you can prepare for the FAFSA, however, that will simplify the overall process. This FAFSA FAQ page produced by the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) is an excellent resource for you to look over before you begin your FAFSA.
Once you have completed the FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) via email. Review your SAR carefully and take appropriate steps; you may be asked to complete additional forms (e.g. verification) before your financial aid can be completed. Contact us at email@example.com with any questions.
In addition to completing the FAFSA, students applying for Direct Loans (Federal Student Aid) must also complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and an entrance counseling session at www.studentloans.gov.
As soon your financial aid package is calculated, the Office of Financial Aid will contact you via email.
Have other questions about the FAFSA or about your finanical aid award letter?
You can email our financial aid administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org Or if you want to speak with someone directly, please call 215.468.8800.
